Bowral Vs Bankstown 4BBB Match

On Wednesday 13th March Bowral played against Bankstown GC to promote the reciprocal rights between the two clubs. Bankstown’s Captain John Carter sent me the following note after the match…

I would just like to thank you again for what was truly a most enjoyable day at Bowral GC. Our Member’s that participated today have all since commented how much they liked the course and the hospitality shown by you and your fellow Members. Our game epitomises the value of friendship and comradery; in general terms, 32 strangers coming together for a day and playing a sport that doesn’t discriminate in regard to age or ability, creating conversations that aren’t necessarily related to golf. The game of golf is unique in many ways but especially in that it is a wonderful opportunity to just socialise in pleasant surroundings and create favourable memories, I think that was achieved today. The pride of your Club was evident today which enhanced the experience and for that I commend yourself and the Members of Bowral GC.

The return match in August is eagerly awaited.

Bowral won 5 games to 3… so we need to do this again in August.

Thanks to the Men and Women Bowral team members for supporting this event. Photo below…
