Bowral Golf Club hosted the 2025 CSGA Opening Day and with the support of the full committee and many of you fabulous women, the day was a great success!

Registration out on the balcony. A total of 109 registered players from Canberra, Goulburn, Braidwood, The Southern Highlands and Yass.

We had all our new carts hired out as well as a couple of members carts. A big thank you to Kon and Matt for the great job they did of organising the carts and cards on the day. A special thank you to the members who allowed us to use their carts for visitors and / or the committee.

Chris Levy and I are extremely grateful to all our wonderful members who kindly contributed to the morning tea. The players all helped themselves not only to something before the game but also took some of the goodies out with them for an extra morning tea out on the course.

We were very lucky with the weather and with the course in excellent condition the visiting players enjoyed the day at Bowral Golf Club.

The raffle run by the Women’s Committee was very popular and as you can see there was plenty of prizes. Thank you to those of our members who donated gifts.

Women’s First Medal Rounds

The Monthly Club Medal is a multiday event and our Saturday Round 1 game was played on the 1st February. The midweek game was played on Thursday 13th February.

Both were played in conjunction with the Golf NSW 1st Medal rounds.

What’s coming up!!

Goulburn Open Day - Wednesday 19th February.

We have a few members travelling to Goulburn on Wednesday to play in their Opening Day. Good luck to all. I know it will be an enjoyable day.

Jubilee Foursomes - Thursday 20th February

There is still time to put your name down to play in the Qualifying Round. The best 8 teams will play in the Knock out rounds.

Champion of Champions - Tuesday 25th February

Club Champions from Highlands, Moss Vale and Bowral Golf Clubs will play an 18-hole stroke round. The Champions will Tee off first. The rest of the field will play a 12-hole, 3 person Ambrose event. There is a sign-up sheet in the Women’s Locker room. We hope to be able to put 1 visitor in each team.

The Donkin Cup Round 1 - Thursday 27th February

This is a stableford event played over 2 rounds. The 2nd round is scheduled to be played on the 22nd June.

Wollongong Trip - Tuesday 11th March

Our course is closed for Greens Renovations and as no one wants to miss out on Tuesday Golf, Ellen Neale has arranged for us to play at Wollongong. Please put your name down on the sign-up sheet in the women’s locker room. Wollongong has reciprocal playing rights with Bowral so there is no greens fees payable. Carts are $50 and you will need $15 cash for comp fees. Please mark on the sign-up sheet if you want a cart.

Lets hope we have plenty of good weather so we can get out and enjoy our golf.
